The Aforza Insights Podcast is back; following last week’s insightful episode, ‘One True Price – The Need for Penny Perfect Pricing, Everywhere’ with Aforza Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, Nick Eales, we were excited to return to the booth at BrewDog’s Flagship Location in Waterloo.

This time, we sat down with Ian Scarr, Regional Sales Director at Aforza. It was fantastic to get the chance to chat with him so soon after he made an exciting trip to Portugal, where he was able to interact with some of our customers in person. Also on the trip were Aforza’s Cosmina Gherge, UI/UX Manager, and Callum Fitzpatrick, Solution Enginer, creating a ‘Dream Team’ for customer engagement.

From customer feedback on our milestone 10th release to just seeing the platform in action, Ian walks us through the significance of the week the team spent in Lisbon.

The ability to see legitimate use cases in the field and hear directly from the customers was a unique perspective that the team really engaged with.

Ian makes special note of the speed required in the Portugese market, where our quick-order, upselling capabilities and rapid synchronisation were especially key. These were the type of insights that are so valuable to us to get in-person.

For Aforza, continual growth and innovation are pivotal to our brand identity, and this trip provided the perfect opportunity to see new areas where we could improve our customer journeys even further.

As Ian indicates, this was more than just a sales trip – the team were talking to ‘real people’, and their perspectives on the platform are incredibly impactful.
