Nick Summer 21 Release Visual

At Aforza, innovative growth is one of our core values and we deliver 3 seamless releases each year; all available automatically across both our online & offline mobile applications.

While a more comprehensive account of these new capabilities will be available in our Summer ‘21 Release Notes, we’ve pulled together a summary of the key highlights we’re most excited about here.

Trade Promotion Management

  • Our new promotion designer tool has been integrated with the existing promotion interface and provides a suite of capabilities to manage sophisticated promotions from a single page.

  • Some of these new capabilities include: Product Group Sorting, Hierarchical Tactic Allocation, Sticky Headers and an Edit Mode.

  • Promotions now support fixed and dynamic based taxation. This is also available for the mobile application.

  • Check out this video to see how Aforza drives promotional compliance and effectiveness with the new intuitive promotion designer.

Audit & Compliance Assistance

  • Increasing legislation for consumer goods promotion has made checking audits of in-store compliance more important than ever before.

  • Audit assets can now have Photo Capture alongside them that are viewable through our mobile application and can be subsequently synced through to the Aforza Consumer Goods platform.

  • The new Audit Overview page gives stock details on all products audited and provides intelligent recommendations on next steps.

  • You can now automatically create a new order at the end of an audit with Audit To Order and populate with the correct quantity of products based on missing stock.

Retail Execution & Order Management

  • Tracking information for recurring visits has never been easier with the new Recurring Record, an optional object for holding repeat visit details.

  • Users can also now set up visits as recurring events. Recurring Visits lets you repeat visits on a set schedule for a certain time period or number of occurrences. These can respect working hours and differences in monthly calendars. It is also possible to update all following visits, or just one.

  • Quick actions can now be added to the Order Complete menu – this allows you to implement customer order validation logic and other relevant checks. It’s very simple to make a call to a business service to check a customer’s credit status,  validate stock levels, or any other custom logic.

Mobile & Tablet UI Enhancements

  • We want the Aforza product to be as intuitive as possible, both on mobile and tablet devices.

  • New Smart Actions can be configured to extend the capabilities of the mobile application. Define logic that can be executed online by licking buttons or links within the mobile app. Add links to the Home Page, Side Menu, Order Complete Page &  Custom Object Menus.

  • With Auto Add & Delete the mobile app now respects auto add and auto delete rules. When adding products to the cart the rules will be automatically triggered.

  • Pricing APIs have been made available through the Aforza Consumer Goods Platform – Customers can use these APIs to build their own order capture experiences in eCommerce, telesales, or other external systems.

  • You can now define custom Object Filters that allow you to more accurately define what data should be synchronized offline to the mobile application. Supported objects include: Custom Objects, Visits, Accounts, Products, Orders & Invoices.

  • Check out these demo showcases of our new Tablet Stock Audit and Tablet Order Capture capabilities.

Multi-Currency Support

  • Aforza Consumer Goods applications now fully support multi-currency Salesforce environments.

  • When capturing an order, the order configuration page will now respect the currency of the order and only promotions and products with the matching currency will be available for order.

  • Promotions also support multi-currency environments; they can have a currency set that defines the orders that they can be added to. The promotional calendar observes the set currency and displays the correct symbols throughout the user interface. Only products with matching currency pricebook entries will be available at promotion execution.

  • The Aforza mobile application also fully supports multi-currency Salesforce environments. A mobile user may only have one specific currency being used at a time.

With all of these new innovations and capabilities, the Aforza industry cloud & mobile solution continues to help consumer goods companies sell more and grow faster.

And, with 3 releases a year across 4 platforms, this innovation never stops.
